How It Works?
To achieve remarkable results, Restylane® Defyne™ uses the most advanced XpresHAn Technology, also referred to as Optimal Balance Technology. Because of this unique formulation, the particles in the solution can cross-link, guaranteeing the best possible smoothness when injected. Restylane® Defyne™ contains lidocaine, an anesthetic that reduces pain and discomfort to help you feel more comfortable during the procedure. Your skin’s depleted hyaluronic acid is replaced by this sterile, viscoelastic, and non-pyrogenic gel. It is entirely biocompatible, naturally occurring in living things, and your body will gradually metabolize it over time. Touch-ups may be necessary on a regular basis to maintain the intended effects.
To avoid visible lumping or discoloration, injections should not be too superficial. The gel should be applied slowly and evenly, with gentle pressure, as the needle is gradually withdrawn from the skin. For correcting moderate to severe nasolabial folds, approximately 1.4ml per treatment site is recommended, while 0.7ml is suggested for optimal retreatment. After the injection, gentle massage of the treated area ensures even distribution of the filler.
