About Juvéderm® Volux™ with Lidocaine
Juvéderm® Volux™ is a hyaluronic acid-based injectable dermal filler. The pharmaceutical firm Allergen, which is based in Dublin, develops and produces it. Juvéderm® Volux™ is made up of a smooth, transparent, and colourless hyaluronic acid (HA) gel with a trace amount of lidocaine, a local anesthetic. Human skin contains HA, which is essentially a sugar that occurs naturally. It helps the skin stay hydrated. To crosslink the HA in the injectable gel, a tiny quantity of the chemical BDDE is introduced during the manufacturing process, which uses Vycross™ technology. This creates a smooth injectable gel that defines the jawline.
