Accent was an Alma Lasers radiofrequency (RF) platform introduced around 2005, and it was used for non-invasive aesthetic treatments.

The original Accent family included unipolar and bipolar RF technologies for applications such as skin tightening and treatment of facial/body laxity

The Accent uses two types of RF treatment:

Unipolar RF — designed for deeper/volumetric tissue heating.

Bipolar RF — designed for more superficial heating.

The system was marketed for applications including skin tightening, wrinkles/laxity, cellulite and body contouring.
